I Think All I Need to Say Here is “You’re Welcome”

Zinashi. Dancing. Here:

That song is on Repeat One. Note how she briefly says “more” before it comes back on again. Please excuse the snot on her upper lip; I didn’t want to interrupt the dancing to wipe her nose, and it appears she was really enjoying licking it off anyway. Win-win, am I right? (I know, gross. Except to her. And then it’s more like, “Heyyyy…salty!)

Enjoy.

I was a little hesitant to post five full minutes of Zinashi dancing because I was afraid it was a little much; I mean, I would watch it, but it’s my kid. Clearly, I shouldn’t have hesitated. I’m so glad you all like it!

The song is Say Hey (I Love You) by Michael Franti. Round these parts, it’s trying to take over every spot in our iTunes “Top 25 Most Played” list.

  6. Visiting from GGC — congrats on your Good Wear Days win!

Also, Zinashi is all kinds of adorable! Love the dancing.

Just binged on your blog tonight. A full hour of hitting “older posts” to get your full story, a lot of weeping, a lot of smiles — and this is the post for which I absolutely must post a comment. What a joyful girl, what an amazing story. And what a precise affirmation of what it means to be a parent, no matter how you come to it.
